Why To Use Vitamins Related To Hair Loss

Hair loss is a major problem for everybody. Experts say this can be contributed to stress and poor diet. Thankfully, this can be corrected with vitamins and proper nutrition.

These vitamins are the best to take if we need to focus on our hair:
• Para-amino benzoic acid may prevent your hair from graying.
• Inositol, Panthenol (vitamin B-5), L-Cysteine and L-methionine can help prevent hair loss.
• Niacin (vitamin B-3) and Vitamin C promotes blood circulation to your scalp.
• Biotin can also prevent your hair from graying prematurely. It's also an essential vitamin for preventing hair loss.
• Vitamins B-6 and B-12 have also been shown to play a role in healthy hair growth.

Vitamins A & E, Coenzyme Q10 and Zinc also aids in producing hairs by strengthening your immune system. However, taking large doses of vitamin A (100,000 IU or more daily) for a long period of time can trigger hair loss. We need to take it in moderation.

These are some of the foods that contain the vitamins and minerals our hair needs: Liver, chicken, fish oil, pork, kidney, beans, peas, carrots, cauliflower, soy beans, nutritional yeast, bran, eggs, brewer's yeast, brown rice, bulgur, green peas, lentils, oats, soybeans, sunflower seeds, whole grains, cereals, nuts, green leafy vegetables, orange juice, brewer's yeast, wheat germ fresh peppers, citrus fruits, melons berries, potatoes, tomatoes and walnuts.

It's interesting to note that the essential vitamins and minerals can be found in our everyday food. But with our fast-paced lifestyle and junk foods available in the market nowadays, it's not surprising that we are not eating healthy. We need to live and eat right. It's not just our hair that suffers from eating wrong foods, it's our whole body!
